NorthWest (Portland-Astoria)

The NorthWest Route provides daily bus service between downtown Portland and the Northwest Oregon Coast, serving a total of eight cities along the route.

SouthWest (Klamath Falls-Brookings)

Providing daily service between the Klamath Falls Amtrak Station, Medford Airport, Crescent City, and Brookings, with free transfers to local transit services.

The SouthWest Route includes two segments.

  1. Klamath Falls-Grants Pass: Operates every day, including holidays.
  2. Cave Junction-Brookings: Operates every day, including holidays. Saturday, Sunday and holiday service extends to Grants Pass with no transfer to JCT required. This segment currently extends to Grants Pass every day. The JCT bus bridge is temporarily suspended due to travel delays associated with ongoing wildfire maintenance on U.S. 199.

Grants Pass-Cave Junction bus bridge: [The JCT bus bridge is temporarily suspended due to travel delays associated with ongoing wildfire maintenance on U.S. 199] The SouthWest Route includes a free local connecting service provided by Josephine Community Transit (JCT) (Route 50) for seamless travel between Grants Pass and Cave Junction and access to more stops at no additional cost. The schedule for this service is coordinated with POINT and operates Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. POINT passengers may ride to or from any of JCT’s regular stops between Grants Pass and Cave Junction. See and print JCT’s full schedule with all stops.

The different ticket options for each segment are listed below. POINT drivers do not sell tickets. Two tickets are needed to travel through both segments of the entire SouthWest Route. Free transfer slips for RVTD, JCT, and RCT bus service are available from drivers upon request.

  1. Klamath Falls-Grants Pass segment: Purchase tickets from Amtrak, Pacific Crest Bus Lines, Greyhound, FlixBus or Megabus.
  2. Cave Junction-Brookings segment: Purchase tickets from Amtrak, Pacific Crest Bus Lines, and Greyhound, FlixBus or Megabus.
  3. Grants Pass-Cave Junction bus bridge: Free! No JCT ticket purchase or reservation is necessary to use the connecting service between Grants Pass and Cave Junction. Valid POINT ticket must be presented upon boarding JCT buses to ride between Grants Pass and Cave Junction (JCT Route 50). Learn more about JCT service.
