The POINT is a contract-operated bus service managed by the Oregon Department of Transportation. The POINT is not operated by Amtrak or Greyhound but we work with both companies to sell our tickets to provide passengers with options to connect to the national network of trains and buses. Please note the following:
- Each route uses a reservation system.
- Tickets must be purchased in advance. You cannot buy tickets on this site and drivers do not sell tickets.
- Passengers have several options for purchasing tickets. We recommend purchasing from the Amtrak and Greyhound websites and mobile apps when possible.

Route
You can generally buy a ticket on the Cascades Route up until about 30 minutes before the bus leaves, but we recommend buying further in advance of your trip. Adult fares range from $5 to $28.
Multi-Ride Passes: 10-ride passes are available for the Cascades Route. Passes are good for a 90-day period and allow passengers to ride to and from the selected stops at a discounted rate compared to the normal cost of Cascades Route tickets. Additionally, for the Cascades Route only, monthly passes can be purchased and are valid for up to two trips a day (once in each direction) between the selected stations for an entire calendar month.
