Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: Effective April 4, the Cascades Route will operate with reduced frequency in response to low demand. POINT will temporarily only operate 4 daily buses to Portland and 4 daily buses to Eugene. The route will still make connections with Amtrak Cascades.
  • New schedules will be shown when you search for tickets on Amtrak.com.
  • Ticket prices, stop locations & other service aspects will remain the same.
  • We are committed to providing service for passengers with essential travel needs as long as we can during this health crisis. POINT buses are cleaned daily and our big buses allow for social distancing while on board. Even so, please only take transit if necessary and maintain 6 feet of distance from other people and our drivers if you do ride.

Arrival and departure times remain the same. We are committed to providing service for passengers with essential travel needs as long as we can during this health crisis. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: In response to upcoming schedule changes on Amtrak Cascades service, POINT is making small changes to our Portland-Eugene Route schedule to help passengers make connections with the train in Portland. What to know:
  • Changes will be in effect until further notice starting Saturday, March 21.
  • See the new schedules when you search for tickets on Amtrak.com.
  • Ticket prices, stop locations & other service aspects will remain the same.
  • No other POINT routes will be impacted by this change.
  • All POINT buses are being cleaned daily. We will continue following Oregon Health Authority guidance to ensure your ride with us is as safe and comfortable, as it always should be.
We are committed to providing a travel option for Oregonians during these times. Please stay healthy and take care of each other!

Effective March 9, 2020, we will be making schedule changes to our Eastern route in order to improve connections to other services and improve the overall efficiency of the route. Passengers will see slightly later departures on both the eastbound and westbound runs. View and print the new schedule by clicking here. Tickets can continued to be purchased from Amtrak, Greyhound, and local agents as normal. There will be no other changes at this time.

Effective Jan 1, 2020, operation of the NorthWest route transitioned from MTRWestern to Northwest Navigator Luxury Coaches. Passengers will notice slightly different buses and some new faces driving them, but schedules, stop locations, and ticket prices have all remained the same. ODOT would like to thank MTRWestern for operating this route since 2012 and welcome our new operator, Northwest Navigator, to the beautiful NW Oregon Coast!
