The POINT is a contract-operated bus service managed by the Oregon Department of Transportation. The POINT is not operated by Amtrak or Greyhound but we work with both companies to sell our tickets to provide passengers with options to connect to the national network of trains and buses. Please note the following:

‍Each route uses a reservation system.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. You cannot buy tickets on this site and drivers do not sell tickets.
Passengers have several options for purchasing tickets. We recommend purchasing from the Amtrak and Greyhound websites and mobile apps when possible.

Eastern (Bend-Ontario)

eastern

Route

You can generally buy a ticket on the Eastern Route up until about 30 minutes before the bus leaves, but we recommend buying further in advance of your trip. Adult fares range from $17 to $48.

Online ticketing sites may not describe our service as "POINT." In the Greyhound and FlixBus systems our route will simply be referred to as operated by our carrier, MTRWestern. In Amtrak’s system, our buses are called “8409 Connecting Bus” and “8410 Connecting Bus.” No matter where you buy your ticket, you will still be riding the same service.
