The POINT is managed by the Oregon Department of Transportation and operated by local bus companies. In order to connect to the regional and national network of trains and buses, passengers can buy our tickets from several different places. Please note the following:

We don't sell tickets on this website and drivers don't sell tickets.
Passengers have several options for buying tickets. We recommend buying your ticket from BusTickets.com or the Amtrak website and mobile app. No matter where you get your ticket, you will still be riding the same service.
Each route uses a reservation system so we can guarantee our riders a seat on the bus. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
For safety reasons, the POINT only uses the designated stops listed on our schedules. We do not make unscheduled or “flag” stops.

Eastern (Bend-Ontario)

How to purchase tickets on the eastern route

Tickets can be purchased online, using mobile apps, over the phone, or in-person. You can generally buy a ticket up until about 30 minutes before the bus leaves but we recommend buying further in advance of your trip. Drivers do not sell tickets. Adult fares range from $17 to $48. Discounts are available from Amtrak and other ticket sellers.

Please note that online ticketing sites may not describe our service as "POINT":

Amtrak's system calls our buses “8409 Connecting Bus” and “8410 Connecting Bus", depending on the direction of travel.
Other ticket sellers use our schedule numbers (8409 and 8410) or simply say our route is operated by MTRWestern.

No matter where you buy your ticket, you will still be riding the same service.
