The POINT is managed by the Oregon Department of Transportation and operated by local bus companies. The POINT is not operated by Amtrak, FlixBus, or Greyhound but we work with these and other companies to sell our tickets so passengers can easily connect to the national network of trains and buses. Please note the following:

Each route uses a reservation system so we can guarantee our riders a seat on the bus. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
You cannot buy tickets on this site and drivers do not sell tickets.
Passengers have several options for purchasing tickets. No matter where you buy your ticket, you will still be riding the same service. We recommend purchasing from the Amtrak, FlixBus, and Greyhound websites or mobile apps when possible.
For safety reasons, the POINT only uses the designated stops listed on our schedules. We do not make unscheduled or “flag” stops.

How to purchase tickets on the

southwest

Route

You can generally buy a ticket up until about 30 minutes before the bus leaves, but we recommend buying further in advance. Tickets can be purchased online, using mobile apps, over the phone, or in-person. Adult fares range from $3 to $52. Discounts are available from Amtrak and other ticket sellers. Free transfer slips for JCT, RVTD, and RCT bus service are available from drivers upon request.

Online ticketing sites may not describe our service as "POINT." In Amtrak's system, our service is described as a "Connecting Bus" and our buses are assigned numbers depending on the segment and direction of travel: 8611 and 8644, or 8711 and 8714. In FlixBus and Greyhound's system, our route will simply be referred to as operated by our carrier, Pacific Crest Bus Lines. No matter where you buy your ticket, you will still be riding the same service.
